Ancient Egyptians gave a special respect to dogs. When
one human murdered a dog, he could die because of it. The Egyptians worshipped
the dog as a god (like the cats).
They had “the God of the light the death
people” who had a head like a dog, also at the same time other cultures
(persia, China, India) treated dogs with a big respect.
In ancient Greece Alexander The Great brought the dogs
from India, because he used them during the wars. Just as in Egypt they had one
Dog-god. It was Cerber, who lived in the world of the death people. Cerber was
a big guard dogs with tree heads.
Different kinds of dogs appered in Rome for the first
time. Ancient Romans breeded dogs for special aims. The dogs fought with bears
on the circus arenas, hunted, kept watch on homes and simply accompanied people
in their lives.
